If we lived closer to each other, I would just let you borrow my copy. I think it is worth the buy, though. It’s a neat book to own. It’s nice to give a re-read once in a while because I always find...

seltzerlizard replied to your post: What are your top 10 books Is House Of Leaves worth the read? It looks, um, hard to read. Am I just ignorant? I think it’s worth the read. I read it the first time while I was a Junior in high school. I was intimidated at first.. but once you get into the story it’s rather easy. The footnotes are a second story, sort of, and some of it fits...

Books!
Any suggestions? I love YA. Not all of it. But quite a bit. If it has anything to do with kids and mythology, I’m usually down. I love Pratchett and Gaiman, King and Hill… stuff like that too. I don’t know. I like different kinds of stories. I love Game of Thrones.. and that was kind of the first time I’ve liked any novels in that style. So suggestions? I drag my feet on...

So, we are going to the beach on my birthday.
That’s cool. It’ll be plenty fun. Here’s the problem.. I have no bikini. Not that I wear a real bikini anyhow.  I generally stick to board shorts and a bra style top because jugs. So.. why can’t I make a top out of an old bra? Hahahahaha, we’re about to find out. I’m gonna do this.

stannisbaratheon: we’ve got our meta on tumblr so i wondered about actual academic papers published online. i always thought that our own meta posts are basically raw versions of literary analyses done by scholars. so it’s interesting to see that what we write about here on a daily basis is actually an academic pursuit.
